Key Product Details
Compatibility:
This power meter fits 24 MM or 30 MM bottom brackets and 110 BCD 5-bolt, 130 BCD 5-bolt or 110 BCD 4-bolt chainrings based on the version ordered. See Compatibility tab for more information.
For Shimano Users:
If you currently have a Shimano road crankset on your bike, this power meter is a direct replacement. In addition, if you select the 110 4-Bolt BCD option, you can also use your current Shimano chainrings on it. This makes replacing your Shimano crankset very simple and easy.
Power Measurement:
The power2max power meter measures power at the spider and is therefore able to measure power from both legs.

Dual-leg power measurement, accurate to +/- 2.0%, 300-400 hours of battery life, CR2450 user-replaceable battery, left/right power balance with system upgrade, ANT+ and Bluetooth compatibility, auto-zero (automatic calibration). See Specs tab for more information.

It measures power from both legs, is accurate and very reliable. We believe the price also represents a good value for what you get. We highly recommend power2max power meters and use them on many of our own bikes.

Other Versions to Consider
Upgraded NG Version: While the NGeco you are viewing on this page is our go-to version for most cyclists, please note we also have the upgraded power2max NG ROTOR ALDHU Road Power Meter Crankset. The NG features slightly better accuracy, a rechargeable battery, a longer warranty and some additional training metrics.
Carbon NGeco Version: We also have the power2max NGeco ROTOR ALDHU Carbon Road Power Meter Crankset which features ROTOR carbon crank arms. This version is more expensive, but it is lighter and stiffer. Please note, the carbon version ONLY comes in a 30 mm spindle size.
Budget Friendly p2m Edition Crank Arm Version: We also sell the power2max NGeco ROTOR p2m Edition 24MM Gravel Power Meter Crankset which comes with more budget friendly crank arms. The finish on the p2m Edition arms is not quite as nice and they are about 40 grams heavier.
Compatibility
Chainrings: The power fits 110 BCD 5-bolt, 130 BCD 5-bolt or 110 BCD 4-bolt chainrings based on the version ordered. In many cases, you can use your existing chainrings assuming they use the same configuration as the power meter you order.
The 110 BCD 4-Bolt version is compatible with all Shimano 4-bolt chainrings, including Shimano 12-speed chainrings.
What is BCD?: BCD (bolt circle diameter) is simply the diameter of a circle that passes through the centers of the bolt holes in your chainring. The BCD is usually stamped right on the chainring as either 110 or 130. It is important to know what BCD your crankset is because assuming you want to use your existing chainrings on your new power meter, you need to order the correct BCD.
Bottom Bracket: This power meter fits 24 MM or 30 MM bottom brackets, depending on the version ordered. If you are ordering the same size as you currently have on your bike, you should be able to re-use your existing bottom bracket. However, if you are changing spindle sizes, you will need to replace your bottom bracket. Please contact us with questions, we are happy to help.

Works perfectly. The team is awesome in providing you with the information you need to select the right power meter. It’s the second one I bought – now for the new Dura Ace Di2 12sp. Service impeccable as always. Fast delivery and straight forward installation. Just needs a little re-adjustment of the front derailleur, which is easy. Connects fast, Garmin immediately recognizes it. And here we go. Thanks for the great experience!
Power Meter City –
It was a pleasure doing business with you again, Gregor! Thank you so much for this kind review! We hope you will enjoy your new power2max crankset! Please let us know if there is anything else we can do! Thank you!

It’s not often these days you can email a company with questions and receive a such good customer service. I had all of my questions answered within a few hours and placed my order. Coming from a Quarq D-zero I was worried I would not have the same reliability but the Power2Max NGECO and Rotor Aldhu crankset have been rock solid. Great customer service and fast shipping.
Power Meter City –
Hi Chris, it was our pleasure! Thank you for being a great customer too! Nice ride BTW! We hope you will continue to enjoy your new crankset and if there is anything else we can do, please let us know!

Really enjoying the power meter and cranks. Have been using these for a few weeks, and knowing my power has really helped in my training. The shorter cranks are also a plus, as it’s helped some with some knee pain. Installation was a cinch.

Purchased the p2max NGeco ROTOR ALDHU crank several weeks ago. Power Meter City did an excellent job setting expectations when the unit should arrive and actually sent a very unique email video showing the shipping tracking from the p2max warehouse as it was slightly delayed. Thought it was a super clever method of communication.
Josh on their customer service team answered a few follow up questions after the install. The full process was A+. Would absolutely recommend Power Meter City to anyone for their power meter needs.
Power Meter City –
Hi Dentoner. We are glad it finally arrived! Thanks for this awesome review – we really appreciate it! We also want to thank you for being a great customer! Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with!

Got my Power2Max NGECO mounted to a Rotor Aldhu 24 crankset today, got it mounted up, and took it for a ride. First, this unit is super simple to install, google Rotor Aldhu install for a video guide by the people at Power2Max. Second, this unit is super simple to setup and use. I spun it around to wake it up, my Wahoo recognized it right away, and I was off. Only minor hiccup was in the meantime between pairing it to my head unit and going out for the inaugural ride, I had connected to the PM with Power2Max’s app, which I think confused the PM and it wouldn’t send any data to my head unit. Once I force quit the app, power was back up on the head unit and I was off!
Lastly, Power Meter City has been awesome throughout the entire buying process. I had a question before I bought, and Josh got back to me with a quick video answering my question. I’ve never had customer support send a video, which made Josh’s answer super clear, unlike a written email can be sometimes. I had a question about something while I was checking out, and Josh called me to clear up my question about a minute later. Shipping was super fast. I ordered mid afternoon (pacific time) Tuesday, and the unit was at my doorstep Thursday morning in Minnesota.
I cannot recommend them enough. Excellent products and fantastic service. What more can you ask for?

Amazing service, couldn’t ask for more. I would definitely recommend this site to my friends.
Regarding the product, it’s flawless to my eyes, I’ve installed it in about 10 minutes, there are several youtube videos if you need assistance, but it’s really easy and without fuzz.

Great upgrade from a Shimano/Stages left arm crank. The Rotor crankset is beautifully made and the NGECO looks great as well. Mine came with black decals, so it’s much more understated than it appears in the picture. The power readings look good and consistent and I haven’t experienced any power spikes on rough descents like I did with the Stages. Overall seems like a much more durable setup and Shimano/Stages that I expect to have for many years. Power Meter City’s customer services was excellent to boot!
Power Meter City –
Hi Grant. Thank you for this amazing review on your power2max. Black decals are good – we hope you continue to enjoy them and please let us know if there is anything else we can do!

Easy install, just make sure you have the spacers required to ensure the cranks is centred correctly. Installed smoothly and works perfectly with my computer. Look forward to using up the battery in 300 hours rather than a few rides as with my stages 2 on my other bike
