Wahoo manufactures the POWRLINK ZERO, the first and only power meter pedal that is built on the Speedplay platform. Wahoo power meters come in two versions: a dual-sided pedal that measures power from both legs, as well as a single-sided version that measures left leg power only. The POWRLINK ZERO is easy to install, accurate to +/- 1.0% and very reliable. It’s a great power meter option for Speedplay users.
Additional Wahoo Power Meter Info:
The POWRLINK ZEROs are very easy to install. Simply grab an 8 mm hex wrench and screw them on – just like a normal pedal. This also means you can move the power meter between bikes quickly and easily.
The Wahoo power meter is the lightest pedal-based power meter available. The dual-sided pedals weigh 138 grams each, while the single-sided pedals weigh 138 grams for the left pedal and 112 grams for the right.
The POWRLINK ZERO dual-sided pedals measure both legs and also measure left/right leg power. This means it can tell you how much power each leg is generating individually. The single-sided pedals measure left leg power and like all left-side power meters, doubles the left leg value to give you total power.
The Wahoo power meters are the only power meter pedals that use Speedplay cleats.
These power meters use rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Battery life is around 75 hours per charge.
These power meters transmit data via both the ANT+ and Bluetooth SMART wireless protocols. Therefore, they are compatible with any bicycle computer. You can also use a smart phone or tablet as your head unit.
Wahoo power meters are accurate to within +/- 1.0%. This is on par (to slightly better) than the majority of other power meters on the market.
Like most power meters, these pedals use an accelerometer to transmit your cadence to your bike computer or head unit in real-time.
These power meters come with a one-year manufacturer’s warranty.
